E-Filing Service Bureau Charges in Court for Lawyers
As Members may be aware, the e-filing system was first implemented on 1 Mar 2011 in Kuala Lumpur and was thereafter extended to several other states. The Service Bureau was initially set up to provide free service at no charge for the first three months. However, this period was then extended and no charges have been imposed thus far for services provided at the Service Bureau.
Bar Council has received notification from the Chief Registrar of the Federal Court that charges for use of the Service Bureau will be implemented beginning from 1 Jan 2012.
Please find attached the
Service Bureau's rate of charges for High Court matters and Subordinate Court matters.
Kindly be informed that no such charges will be imposed for e-filing conducted online from law firm offices.
