Checklists

This section includes a variety of checklists and guides to assist you in creating and maintaining good risk management practices in the running of your firm and your practice as a lawyer. The checklists are divided into two areas i.e. firm management checklists and practice checklists. 

Firm Management Checklists are resources targeted to minimise/reduce the risks arising from the daily operations of the firm.

Practice Checklists are intended to assist lawyers and practice support staff to familiarise themselves with good practices in the relevant area. The use of these checklists can help minimise risks in claims-prone practice areas, particularly civil litigation and real estate conveyancing. The objective of the checklists is to encourage a methodical and structural process in dealing with the relevant practice areas
