To Members of the Malaysian Bar
Launch of Continuing Professional Development Online Training Platform
The Continuing Professional Development (“CPD”) Department is pleased to announce the soft launch of its Online Training Platform (“OTP”) on 12 Mar 2014.
The OTP will provide Members with access to specific courses that will form part of the CPD Scheme. For now, please note that the OTP is exclusively open to Members for testing purposes only. Members are encouraged to access the platform and view the uploaded videos, which are currently available at no cost until 31 Mar 2014. No CPD points will be allocated until the OTP is officially launched.
The OTP provides an additional avenue of CPD training to Members of the Bar in the form of affordable and on-demand videos at their convenience, without the need to attend live training seminars. This will allow Members, who may not have access to live sessions due to time, geographical or other constraints, the opportunity to actively and easily participate in CPD training.

Note: Members of the Bar are advised to use Google Chrome only as their web browser to access the site and view the videos during this testing period. Accessibility through other web browsers is currently being tested
The CPD Department is currently editing more videos to be placed on the platform in stages. It is expected that two videos will be uploaded onto the platform every month; these videos cover a variety of practice areas and varying levels of expertise.

www.malaysianbar.org.my/cpd and click on the “Online Training” icon on the right-hand side of the home page. Members will be required to sign up in order to access the videos.
