Bar Council Malaysia Professional Standards and Development Centre
We are pleased to announce the opening of the Bar Council Malaysia Professional Standards and Development Centre (“PSD Centre”) at the following address:
Straits Trading Building
Unit 2-02A, 2nd Floor
2 Leboh Pasar Besar
50050 Kuala Lumpur
In addition to the CPD Centre, the new premises also houses the following facilities:
(1) The Raja Aziz Addruse Auditorium, which was previously located in the Bar Council building, has a capacity of 180 seats and can be partitioned to create two rooms - Room 1 (seating capacity of 110) and Room 2 (seating capacity of 70); and
(2) A meeting room, which can be used for training or meetings, and can seat up to 10 individuals.
These facilities will be used for events organised by Bar Council Malaysia, and are also available for rent.
Members and participants at events may park their vehicles either at the Dataran Merdeka car park, which is across the road from the Straits Trading Building, or along Jalan Mahkamah Persekutuan, which runs along the riverbank.
With the new PSD Centre, it will now be possible to organise two events simultaneously, and Members, pupils in chambers, and participants will benefit from better presentation facilities and enjoy greater comfort.
