QR Code Scanning System for Verification of Authenticity of Court Documents in Peninsular Malaysia

­The Office of the Chief Registrar of the Federal Court of Malaysia (“PKPMP”) has introduced an initiative to allow the public to verify the authenticity of Court Documents in order to prevent the public from being deceived by fake documents claimed to be issued by the courts.

We would like to highlight to Members that starting from 1 July 2020, all Court Documents created and filed through e-Kehakiman at 22 locations (as listed in the video) will feature a QR code.  Users who wish to verify the authenticity of the documents may scan the QR code displayed.  The results of the scan will direct users to the link https://ecourt.kehakiman.gov.my/.  Users should then follow the steps as described in the link.
