Arahan Menjalankan Kuasa dan Tugas Termasuk Fungsi di bawah
Perlembagaan Persekutuan bagi Jawatan Hakim Besar Malaya

The Chief Justice of the Federal Court of Malaysia, YAA Dato’ Tengku Maimun binti Tuan Mat, has extended to us a copy of Arahan Menjalankan Kuasa dan Tugas Termasuk Fungsi di bawah Perlembagaan Persekutuan bagi Jawatan Hakim Besar Malaya, dated 21 May 2019, stating that pursuant to section 9(3)(a) of the Courts of Judicature Act 1964, YA Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Azahar bin Mohamed will exercise the powers and duties, including functions under the Federal Constitution, as the Chief Judge of Malaya until that vacancy is filled. 

Please be informed that the Arahan came into operation on 21 May 2019 (Tuesday).

Perkara di atas adalah di rujuk.

2.         Dimaklumkan bahawa selaras dengan peruntukkan seksyen 9(3)(a) Akta Mahkamah Kehakiman 1964, YA Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Azahar bin Mohamed akan menjalankan kuasa dan tugas termasuk fungsi di bawah Perlembagaan Persekutuan sebagai Hakim Besar Malaya sehingga jawatan tersebut diisi.

3.         Sehubungan dengan itu, segala perkara berhubung dengannya hendaklah dirujuk kepada YA Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Azahar bin Mohamed.
