Circular No 181/2014
Dated 15 Aug 2014
To Members of the Malaysian Bar
Invitation to Serve As Mentor for the Mentor-Mentee Programme
The Bar Council Criminal Law Committee has initiated a mentor-mentee programme whereby budding criminal law practitioners are given the opportunity to learn from senior criminal law practitioners at the appellate courts.
To make this initiative a success, Bar Council invites established criminal law practitioners practising at the appellate courts to take on the role of mentors.
The experience and guidance by senior criminal law practitioners will also prove invaluable to lawyers conducting criminal cases.
If you are interested to serve as a mentor, please provide the dates of your appearance at the appellate courts to Rajeswari Gunarasa, Officer, by email at rajeswari@malaysianbar.org.my, or by telephone at 03-2050 2089. We will arrange for young lawyers to be in court, to sit with you during the proceedings.
Should you have any enquiries, please contact Rajeswari Gunarasa, Officer, at the contact details listed above.
Thank you.
