Filing of Petition for Admission as an Advocate and Solicitor
of the High Court of Malaya
Bar Council has received a directive from the Managing Deputy Registrar of the Appellate and Special Powers Division of the Kuala Lumpur High Court. With effect from 29 June 2011, every petitioner filing Borang 1 of Petition for Admission as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya is required to produce a printout of his or her Master's name. The printout is available for download from

Please find attached a copy of the directive received from the Managing Deputy Registrar of the Appellate and Special Powers Division of the Kuala Lumpur High Court and guidelines for the filing of Petitions for Admission via e-filing.
Kindly take note of this matter and advise your pupils accordingly.
