Updates on the E-Filing System
Following several dialogues between Bar Council and the relevant authorities, the e-filing system is now improved with these new features:
(1) A client installation checker to assist users to check the version of their web browser to know whether the version is compatible with the software requirement for the e-filing system;
(2) Allowing for deletion of documents from the filing cart after payment attempt;
(3) Allowing extraction of documents after a case is transferred;
(4) Allowing for printing after file search;
(5) Allowing filing preview before making payment; and
(6) Checking on malformed PDF.
The Court Liaison Committee will be pressing on with the stakeholders to address e-filing issues that remain unresolved.
