Revised Rates for Real Property Gains Tax
Please be informed that the Real Property Gains Tax (Exemption) Order 2012 [P.U. (A) 415/2012], published in the Gazette on 26 Nov 2012, has been revoked by the Real Property Gains Tax (Exemption) (Revocation) Order 2013 [P.U. (A) 369/2013], published in the Gazette on 24 Dec 2013.
The relevant guidelines on the revised rates for Real Property Gains Tax (“RPGT”) can be accessed on the official portal of the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia or here.
