Official Launch of Continuing Professional Development Online Training Platform
The Continuing Professional Development (“CPD”) Department is pleased to announce the official launch of its Online Training Platform (“OTP”) today, 7 Aug 2014 (Thursday).
The OTP provides Members and pupils with access to online courses that form part of the CPD Scheme. It is an additional avenue of training with online courses that Members and pupils can access at their own convenience, allowing them to accumulate CPD points without the need to attend face-to-face courses.
The online courses cover a variety of practice areas, and are divided into the following categories:
(a) Free videos that have no CPD points assigned;
(b) Paid videos that have CPD points assigned, and can be purchased for a minimal fee; and
(c) Sponsored videos that have CPD points assigned, and will be accessible free of charge (to be launched in August 2014).
Members and pupils can accumulate CPD points by viewing an entire video and participating in the online quiz.
