Update to Notification on Federal Court Cases During Extension of MCO
We refer to
Circular No 075/2020 entitled “Update on COVID-19 | Notification on Federal Court Cases During Extension of MCO” dated 25 Mar 2020.
The Deputy Registrar of the Federal Court of Malaysia, Puan Jumirah binti Marjuki, has notified us via email today (28 Mar 2020) that all applications for leave to appeal in the Federal Court will be heard in the presence of all parties as usual.
The earlier directive for leave application to be heard in the absence of parties, has been revoked on 26 Mar 2020.

The above matter and my e-mail dated 25 March 2020 is referred.
2. Kindly be informed that I have received instruction from the Right Honorable Chief Justice to inform that the earlier direction for leave application to be heard in the absence of parties has been revoked on 26 March 2020.
3. As such, all applications for leave to appeal in the Federal Court will be heard in the presence of all parties as usual.
