Implementation of Mention of Cases by way of e-Sebutan at the Industrial Court of Malaysia

The President of the Industrial Court of Malaysia, YA Tuan Eddie Yeo Soon Chye has extended us a notification entitled “Pelaksanaan Sebutan Kes Mahkamah Perusahaan Malaysia Secara e-Sebutan”, dated 17 June 2020.

The notification is to inform Members that the Industrial Court of Malaysia is implementing the mention of cases by way of e-Sebutan.  The implementation of e-Sebutan will be for the first mention only until such time further directions are issued by the Industrial Courts.

The notification from the Industrial Court of Malaysia and Nota Amalan Bil 1 Tahun 2020, which will come into force on 22 June 2020 (Monday), is available here (see pages 2 to 6) for Members’ reference.

PELAKSANAAN SEBUTAN KES MAHKAMAH PERUSAHAAN MALAYSIA SECARA e-SEBUTAN

Saya dengan hormatnya merujuk kepada perkara tersebut di atas.

2.         Sukacita dimaklumkan bahawa pihak Mahkamah Perusahaan Malaysia (MPM) akan melaksanakan pengendalian sebutan kes secara e-Sebutan sebagai salah satu inisiatif di bawah Pelan Tranformasi Digital MPM.

3.         Untuk makluman pihak tuan, sebagai permulaan pelaksanaan e-Sebutan akan dilaksanakan bagi sebutan kes pertama sahaja.  Bagi pengurusan kes yang lain, pihak MPM akan mengeluarkan arahan-arahan sewajarnya berdasarkan jenis dan/atau keadaan kes.

4.         Bersama-sama ini dilampirkan Nota Amalan Bil. 1 Tahun 2020 Sebutan Kes Mahkamah Perusahaan Malaysia secara e-Sebutan sebagai rujukan. Sehubungan ini, kerjasama tuan dipohon untuk memanjangkan maklumat ini kepada para peguam/pegawai yang terlibat.
