"START" is Bar Council’s first-ever legal starter kit. It forms part of Bar Council’s risk management programme and strategy to enhance the quality and standards of new lawyers in the country.
The
START Kit provides a range of practice tools generally regarded as basic necessities in legal practice. Divided in to four key sections, each section offers advices and tips on practice essentials.
Lawyers who apply to Bar Council to set up new firms and first-time lawyers applying for their Sijil Annual and Practising Certificates will receive a complimentary copy of the START Kit.
“START’s” aim is to support this target group in their new firms and/or settle in to practice life. Information and reference materials on day-to-day work of legal practice, basic systems and procedures to running a practice are also included.
Other Members of the Bar who would like to purchase the START Kit can do so at RM50 from the Bar Council Secretariat Sales Counter situated on the ground floor.
